For 2024/25, in Maestro Ankush Kumar Bahl’s fourth season as Music Director, the Omaha Symphony expands upon the previous season’s focus on American composers and new works alongside beloved favorites, all presented with fresh context. Bahl has crafted concert programs with repertoire that spans many eras and geographies. Season Highlights
- Music Director Ankush Kumar Bahl conducts eleven productions, including Beethoven 8 and The Planets
- Legendary director and multiple Academy Award® winner Alexander Payne will be discussing the power of music scores in film
- Renowned singer-songwriter and artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center Ben Folds returns
- Rick Steves, America's leading authority on European travel, teams up with the Omaha Symphony for a musical journey
- Rock tributes to legendary bands and artists like the Tina Turner, Queen, Green Day, and more
- A plethora of guest artists and ensembles, many of whom are making their debuts and returning to Omaha such as conductor Ken-David Masur, pianist Conrad Tao, and pipa player Wu Man
- Four full-length feature films with the score played live by the orchestra
Masterworks
From Gershwin to Grieg, this series at the Holland Center highlights revered classics and groundbreaking masterpieces from both living and legacy composers, performed by the Omaha Symphony and featuring world-renowned guest artists.

Symphony Joslyn
A series built for both classical diehards and new enthusiasts, this more casual and intimate matinee experience highlights soloists from the Omaha Symphony and features repertoire ranging from exciting deep cuts to established gems. The series returns to the newly-expanded Joslyn, where you'll be able to hear live music again in the stately Witherspoon Hall. Take time to explore your reimagined Museum. Open again in time for the season, you’ll find a drop-off shielded from the elements, convenient free parking, new art and galleries to explore, and the opportunity to eat and shop.

Family Series
Fun for everyone! This series features engaging and educational concerts made especially for younger audiences. Events are an hour long and come with lobby activities like performance-themed crafts, costume contests, an instrument “petting zoo” where children are be introduced to different instruments, and more!
