Michael Keelan

Michael Keelan received an MM from the University of Maryland, subsequently serving on the faculty of the Wausau (WI) Conservatory of Music while concertmaster of the Green Bay Symphony. He has taught orchestra and strings at Concordia University (NE) and Ottawa University (KS).
Orchestrally he has also been a member of the Fairfax (VA) and Delaware Symphonies besides appearing as guest concertmaster of the Lincoln and Sioux City Symphonies, and for the latter soloist as well.

As a broadcaster he has worked as music director of Kansas Public Radio and currently hosts for Arizona PBS. He annotates the Sioux City Symphony programs and was published in the American String Teacher journal.
