Buzzing About Bugs!

Learn about incredible insects in this musical adventure, presented in partnership with Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, featuring an original work by 12-year-old Omaha composer Winston Schneider. Click here for more about Winston.

Pre-Concert Activities Begin at 1:15

Kids will love the pre-concert activities in the lobby where they will get to see exotic bugs from around the world, provided by Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. You can learn from experts all about these interesting creatures. The Xerces Society will also by buzzing around talking about bees and butterflies. We'll also feature the ever-popular Instrument Petting Zoo.

The Concert

Using music and visuals, experts from the Zoo are going to tell you all about the bugs from the Midwest and how there are more species in your own back yard than in the entire zoo! Learn all about them and how to conserve their environment to help them stick around!
